Greetings! My name is Melissa Brown, and I'm happy to be teaching at Hulbert this year! I graduated from NSU in 2002 with a BA in Education, English, and since then have worked in a variety of educational settings, from Special Education to English. I from 2009-2011 I worked at a company called The Language Company, at OSU IT in Okmulgee and at NSU, that prepares international students for college life in here in America through cultural and English lessons. I consider this the most valuable experience in my career, as I worked with mainly Japanese, Korean and Saudi Arabian students who taught me so many things about not only their cultures but my own!
